Hi, I don't know too much about Mormons, but the ones I have met are respectful and dedicated. Freedom of religion is one of the great benefits of being an American citizen and we all should respect individual beliefs. We all will not agree on those beliefs, but I would fight to the death to protect the right to choose. God bless America !

Overall, many cool and very interesting people, with the exception of Harry Reid who is also a Mormon.

Of Joseph Smith's history it is written by the Mormon church that Smith could not determine which church to attend due to denominational feuding, so Smith prayed and it was revealed to him by an angel named Moroni a new manuscript and a new direction. That is the synopsis I got from my Book of Mormon and from the missionaries my uncle sent to my parents' house in the 1970s.

Interdenominational feuding is indeed a problem and remains so today. HOWEVER!!!! It is up to each of us to read God's word and transcend the wars between the churches by reading WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS, not books written about the Bible by people who have never read the Bible in the first place.

What Smith should have done is READ THE BIBLE HIMSELF, and then hold his church accountable and feel free to change denominations if his church does not follow the Bible. Smith made the same mistake most other people do, because reading the Bible is a very hard thing to do, but I have done it and it makes me stronger and more firm in my beliefs.

I know many Mormons, and not just those who are still Mormons, but Mormons who have read the Bible for themselves and taught classes in the Mormon church. People are thirsty for knowledge, and a woman I know had a Bible class that was so popular, that the elders in Salt Lake City caught wind of it and had her and her family excommunicated from the church. She and her husband were a Mormon missionaries, and then Christian/Protestant missionaries and are very dynamic in my home church.

Mormons are very good and intelligent people. Their hearts are in the right place. But they need to read the Bible, though. I challenge you to do the same. Reading the Bible is the beginning of wisdom and blessings.

Mormonism is a Cult.It was founded by a man who is denied being a christian because of his outrageous changes. He removed the commandment of adultery so men could have 2+ wives. He "found" Three Golden Plates in America & translated the plates into Book of Mormon. He claimed he had the original copy of the Book of Mormon & could read it in the language it was in.However he admitted he couldn't read nor speak the language

I beilieve they are slightly misguided (Ever read no man know's my history or the mormon murders or out of mormonism) and I bieleive that they have made some major mistakes in the past (Blood Atonement). It's nothing personal (Read joesph smith's diary) My father married my step mom and became a member of the LDS church. What ward are you in?
