Very doubtful he'll die. Both Stephen and Ben has said that Locke is very in tune with the Island and he has already exhibited miraculous healing power, not to mention that there is an obvious connection between Locke and Jacob, that Ben is jealous of, so again he is much too important of a character to die...completely.

Hello,There are several speculations about the location of Locke's bullet in tonight's show. One interesting theory is that Ben's bullet went through Locke's missing kidney and Locke will probably recover. He may even be healed by Jacob should Locke head back to the cabin. The cabin has some sort of explosive powder around the cabin so Locke does need to help Jacob.Don't be surprised if the Dog Vincent also helps. His picture was in the cabin on the wall. Look for the many clues in the cabin. If there is one thing that we,the audience, know is that every episode is part of a puzzle. We may never get the big picture until the last lost rescue.

He's not dead yet. He might die before the seasons is out though. I saw on the cover of a TVguide that said "LOST: FIVE WILL DIE." I know those are misleading and are there so people will want to buy it, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me. If anyone at the moment, I think it would be Locke and/or Charlie since Locke just got shot and Desmond has been saving Charlie for the last couple of weeks. Who knows!

My theory is yes, he did die, and but not really. The writers and producers of the show often talk about the "mythology" of the show. Stories that strive to create their own mythologies, such as the "Star Wars" series, or Lord of the Rings, inevitably has the wizened character to die, such as Obi Wan or Gandolf, only to have those characters return at the key moment of the battle to help secure the victory. Locke will be reborn, either literally or metaphorically. And when he is, his connection to the island will be stronger than ever....

There are like 20 questions just like this.
Someone as major a character as Locke they will make sure that you know they are DEAD.
He only passed out.
He came to the island paralyzed and can now walk. If the island wants him bad enough, the island/Jacob will take care of him.
Locke is NOT DEAD... yet.
I'm pretty sure he will come back and kick some major Ben booty.

I hope not! LOST would never be the same! I really don't think the writers would be so stupid. I'm not the biggest Lock fan, but they would lose so much in ratings if they killed off such an important character at this point.
I guess we'll have to wait and see next Wednesday.
