I like his films for a different perspective on several topic's. He must need an armed security force where ever he goes. I am amazed that he hasn't be erased or silenced by the authorities in the US yet.

To answer your question, I think Micheal Moore is a great director and a very Genuine person, he wants to find out the truth and carries out investigations with great aplomb.

Having studied Columbine High, Micheal wanted to let the world know what really happened. I would suggest you watch Elephant Man, which is based on what the lives of the school children were like hours before the shooting, the director in this film uses the use of the camera were the boy kept taking the photos of the pupils repeatable, this action was to show the viewer the flash backs the Pupils were having.
However it doesn't tell us why the Killer shot some and let others get away and wither or not video games or the Government were to blame.
Micheal Moore gets to the crux of the matter by investigating and interviewing the survivors and the family of the dead pupils with decorum
backing of when thinks got to much.

You got to like him, he is a voice for all those that aren't gullable and weak that listen to and believe everything this administration tells them. I would have to say about 95% of you and the media has no clue what the term Conspiracy theory means.... For one, it's something with NO FACTS.. Ok, michael moore has produced facts in his films, but most of you have no clue and will continue being lied to by this Gov't. Their needs to be more people that can think outside the box and for themselves in this country, your way of thinking is so controlled by the media it's sad, really it's sad. The people that you are calling conspiracy theorists are the ones that are thinking outside the box, and realize something just isn't right and has the courage to do something about it.
You people really need to stop watching FoxNews it's really brainwashing you.... No they don't let you decide, they shove their propaganda and lies down your throat and your gullable enough to believe it....

Love him. We need quite a few more radical liberals like him to balance out all the nut-case conservatives who have their own religious television shows, hate radio programs, arch-conservative magazines and papers, and right-wing "christian" political events. Love the folks who make people foam at the mouth!

He's just an untalented filmmaker trying to use controversy to make a name for himself.
And as for as armed security, If he does and anyone was to find out the defenders of the Second Amendment would have a field day with it. We just love when Gun banning liberals want to ban our guns but hide behind their own hired guns.
That is the ultimate hypocrisy.

Michael Moore love him or hate him?...Love him!!! He says it like it is and represents what most Americans and other countries think but may not have the opportunity to voice as he does...It's a shame though that he may just end up like the rest of the advocating souls...dead....(sigh) what a @#!$ up world!!!

neither.

he's a talented filmmaker, but he would get his points across better if he didn't take the occassional short-cuts. he should know that people are going to be gunning for him, and exploiting any error (perceived or real) thet can find.

I'm glad there are people out ther like him, that the nazification of this country and the elimination of free speech is not that far entrenched.

I like him. He doesn't just spout any old rubbish & expect us to believe it. He shows evidence to back up every one of his theories. Which is more than some governments do. For example, did George Bush show any eveidence to back up his claim of Weapons of Mass Destruction? No, he just expected to be believed.

I love the idea of someone LIKE Michael Moore. But unfortunately, he takes things out of context and, rather than actually showing a legitimate differing point of view, he actually manipulates the media to make his points rather than letting them make themselves. (He himself has even said that his films are "op-ed pieces" rather than "documentaries") For this reason, I think he ends up being difficult to take seriously. I'd rather see someone showing facts that speak for themselves rather than manipulations that "pretend" to show the truth.
