If you know a lot about spiders please contact me. I found a find in my bathroom, we believe it was in an old, non-working vent and crawled out. I have a picture of it on my computer, a bit blurry. It was brown with very slender, very long legs and a short body.

your photo is too blurry to make a positive identification. Size would also help. Spiders from the genus Tegenaria are common in most households and range in size from minute (less than a dime) to quite large (clost to 2" in diameter including legs). This spider reminds me of Tegenaria giganta, the giant house spider... but that obviously depends on size. Other species of Tegenaria include the common house spider, and the hobo spider, though this picture doesnt look like either of those to me. Depending on your location, there is a slight chance that this may be a brown recluse, but I once again doubt it. This picture is of a male spider, which would be ideal for identification. If you can, take it into your local Entomologist at a nearby university. He could tell you in a jiffy.

Well, that leaves it pretty wide open - in order to make some sort of guess, we'd need to know where you are and the approximate size of the spider. Also anything else about it that you noticed would help. The photo would probably be useful if you could post a link to it (assuming that you get it up on a webpage).

I would be very careful of what kind of spider it is because we do have the brown recluse around here.I would not mess with anything that mother nature herself has on this earth.I don't know much about spider's but I do know not to mess with them and to watch and learn from others that have been bit and injured.
