"God dwells within you as you". All things are but God expressing his vision of himself, to the nth degree. Read romans 1-19/21. we had unity with God from creation. our attitude was; " Him! oh he's nobody, he's just my father, God. We wanted detailed knowledge who and what we were. We have the accumlated knowledge & experiences of all ages within us (like star trek borg).when we have completed Gods vision we will have wrought prefection within ourselves and then be a perfect expression of God. Who appriciated the father most, the son who never left or the prodigal after experiencing the pain and suffering of separation from his father?? Whom did the father appriciate most the son who stayed home or the son who was lost?? As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are we all contained within the light of Gods Unconditional Love.

The purpose of your life is to follow God's rules on life. If there is no God, then there is no need to ask the question. Why would you think you really need to answer the ultimates? What if there's nothing such as the ultimate question? Can you live your life without a purpose, like an animal or a plant? Why?

Learn.

The Universe is driven to understand itself. Imagine that if it were a knowledgeable entity, all alone, nothing could tell it what it was. Also imagine this pre-Big-Bang.

Therefore it sacrifices itself to become what is known as the Universe, driven to become ever more complex, and more knowledgeable so one day it can figure out what 'it' is through all the experiences and knowledge its subparts. Over time everything becomes more complex. Ever wonder why? What drives evolution?

Or we can go for the simple answer 42. Thanks Douglas!

I just finished choosing the best answer for my question, "What is the meaning of life?" If you want to see the answers people gave, they are here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmUK68WKNCg7gbbtc9.iaWTsy6IX?qid=20070508164038AAgusHe

There are some great ones.

But I think that the answer to the ultimate question is beyond comprehension, beyond understanding, and beyond Canada. I think it is unique to every person, uniform for all societies, and nonexistent in the stock market. I believe that we will never find it, yet all of us know it somehow. I also believe that George Bush's answer lies in a complex code of grammar mistakes in his speeches. "Whim of a hat?" Very deep, no doubt!

Really though, I think it is different for everyone thanks to being so ambiguous. So it is hard to find a constant one but no doubt North Korea has one for the entire country.

What "ultimate" question?!?
Life and everything else in the universe is NOT a "question" or an "answer..." in the strictest use of those terms.
It's a "yelp" of surprise...!

"What the f...!?!"

According to the book "The Hitch Hiker Guide to the Galaxy" the answer is 42. I agree entirely with it because it seems very logical.
