i was home in the basement were my room is my uncles is next to mine well anyways im focusing my eyes on my lap wich is were my home work was on a hardcover book when all of a sudden i saw this black human like figure! it was hudge and black and looked like it had a cape on so i look at it and its jus standing there i am too scared to move i stare at it for almost a minute or longer when my lamp started flickering and then it just turned off then back on and its gone! i run upstairs to my dads and step moms rooms and they tell me to sleep on the floor of my baby brothers and my younger brothers room. it was spring brake so, and after my parents leave to work and take my baby brother to his baby sitter my other brother goes and sleeps in there room so i get on his bed it is bright outside but his curtains make it dark when i hear a click and then i look and i see and outline like a human on the curtains and the rom were i was sleeping and saw it was the 2nd floor! i need u 2 star it!pl

One of two things are happening here, honey. First, either you are watching way too much gory tv, or second, you are pulling our legs and enjoying being scared. I don't know of 'shadow people' or ghosts which appear whith capes. I would not be afraid to confront a ghost, respectfully, and see what it is in need of. Spirits appear for a reason. Shadow people and spirits do not appear in daylight (inside or outside the curtains) without a reason to contact you. Are you female? Does this run in the family, this ability to communicate with spirits? Please calm down and e-mail me in more detail about this thing you saw. For your own peace of mind, spirits can not hurt you and do not wish to. As you can see, nothing happened to you. Relax and let me know more please.

like the other one said you are either pulling our legs or fair dinkum about this sighting.
firstly I do believe (if its true) that you seen a black figure shaped like a human with a cape - myself have seen black figures with huge top hats on - many yrs ago and this is a sign to us - yes traditional and ancient people believe in these things and they appear for a reason. dont be scared they wont hurt you. after all I am still here 30 yrs later.

It is possible you've seen a shadow person or ghost.
However don't panic.Few spirits want to hurt the living and in any case virtually none of them are capable of harming you in any way other than by scaring you.
Next time it appears speak to it-ask it what it wants.

have you been messing with tarrot cards or palm reading or anything like that? if so it could be a demonic influence.if your christian you should go see a minister or a priest. I'll pray for you , I know your scared.
