"To actually say liberals love terrorists more than our troops is an insult to liberal military families?"
a question that was revelation as to the character of a lot of the conservative participants. i thought this was something we could agree upon. that, inherently, all military men and women were of equal value seems like such a reasonable notion.
i was shocked to hear that the military participation of liberals, no matter how significant, was insignificant.
americans are not americans any more. and if you think waving a flag gets you into heaven i suggest you choose one of the flags draped over the coffin of a couple of my liberal dead veteran relatives.
to this we may hear, oh yeah the TWO liberals in war...how many are necessary? you have no idea the level of depravity evoked in such intellectually and spiritually retarded sentiment.
so to those that were so callous and vulgar. screw off, this country is not yours, its ours.

hey boldtrut you are the poison in the american bloodstream. saying WHAT liberal military families. MINE fool.
such blanket interrogative statements are banal depths incarnate of the neo conservative effort to polarize an america already divided by, not a separation of ideals but by a lack of them. which america do you live in? the one with slaves still? the one with racial lines still clearly drawn? the one where women can't vote? these were all "liberal" causes. i suppose they are unamerican as well. you don't even read through, that could be the education systems failing, which i am sure you are ok with. more bombs less books, more bombs less books! is that your insipid mantra?
pleasure talking with you why don't you go and undo a little more history, the one where liberals who by definition support change are all marginalized. abe lincoln was a "lib" fool. the revolutionaries were "libs" fool.

Welcome to the wacky world of extremists. Many of these Cons had flags pulled over their heads and were desperate for revenge after 9/11. In their world, it didn't matter who we hit as long as it was somebody. The notion that just because someone thinks (or has thought from the beginning) that the invasion of Iraq was a bad idea is a terrorist supporter is so beyond ridiculous that it defies all logic. I wouldn't worry too much about them because history isn't going to be very kind to them. And they know it.

So your making the contention that this is a one sided issue, that liberals havent been at least equally as vulgar and , as you put it, intellectually and spiritually retarded, and you are saying that you are equating military parcipation being equal is in relation to philosophy instead of quantity.
Well I wasnt involved in what you reference but on the surface it looks like the intellectual honesty here is either being twisted or misunderstood by yourself.
If someone talks about quantity of liberal participation but you construe that as equality of the participants regardless of ideology .. well... you arent talking about the same thing that they were talkin about. And you are then accusing them of of not allotting equal value.
Maybe you should think it over a bit more.

Even William F. Buckley jr., the conservative intellectual says that Bush should resign because he has lost the support and trust of the people and has a horrible foreign policy that is weakening our country. It's too bad the remaining 27% are still too arrogant to acknowledge it and admit it. It's also very sad for all our troops no matter if they are conservative or liberal.

Most individuals that enter the military aren't the ones that feel entitled to a good out come. The conservatives are addressing their remarks towards the people that expect a UTOPIA on earth.

Sorry that you are insulted, I don't believe that is the intent. I respect and support all our military in service no matter how they may be aligned politically, even if it is just one. The fact is, if the terrorists had a vote in Congress, they would vote with the Democrats for a time based withdrawal. This is not to say that Democrats support Terrorists, it is the other way around, Terrorists support and hope for Democrats to win their struggle to get US servicemen out of Iraq sooner rather than later. While I consider Democrats to be misguided at times, I feel the same about Republicans at times. What angers me is that there appears to be an effort, from both sides, to divide the nation, accusing the other side of all manner of abuses. We need someone(s) to unite us, not divide us. I once again will ask for Fred Thompson to be drafted into the Presidential race, he is the only one even near in the running I trust. As far as Hillary, I will only vote for her for permanant ambassador to Antartica.

I'm afraid I have to agree -- in part. During daily life, there are plenty of people with various political ideals and opinions, and I believe I can count on many of them in any situation -- as I hope they know they can count on me.
As long as this social fabric of OUR United States is not torn, we're fine, I think.
That said, I think we all MUST get away from the polarizing hate talk from both extremes. It is unhealthy to OUR country.

I'm a moderate republican.
I feel that 25% of our country is suffering from mental illness. Fox News is force feeding this hatred as is Rush. 25% of our population is receptive to the propaganda.
The only ones that still support Bush are not well.

The drones who have knee-jerk hatred of "liberals" really are very insignificant, because they are thoroughly unintellectual and don't have a very firm grasp on politics,
they are party hacks....and in real life I'll bet you any amount of money they are as big of hypocrites as their head political party hack pill poppin thrice married Rush is.
They are "ditto-heads" in every way, that they don't really know how to critically think for themselves.
