My Grandmother basically raised me, my mother was a part of my life really till I was 10 when I went to live with my grandparents. Even before I lived with her she was basically my mother. My mom did drugs alot, so when my dad was working I spent most of my time with her. She meant so much to me and still does to this day. She past away 2 years ago. I was just wondering if it would be appropriate for me to where a white corsage on mother's day even though she is not my real mother, she is my father's mother??

What a lovely way to remeber such a special person!! There are so many definitions of a mother, as you said, she was the one who practically raised you, she was a big influence on who you became as a person.
I think anyone who would question why you would wear a corsage of flowers on mothers day once hearing your story would be daft - so wear them proudly!!
BTW, I think the official flower of mothers day is the chrysanthemum, you might like a simlple display of one flower with a ribbon of your grandmothers favourite color, or her favourite flower if you know what it was.

Before you make your final decision, take a look at the information from www.theflowershopdenver.com re Birth Month Flowers. Read the presentations for both January and November. (I also took a look at Wikipedia @ en.wikipedia.org.) In my experience the carnation is the Mother's Day flower. The information re the chrysanthemum is most helpful. Have a blessed day of acknowledgement and remembrance!

I assume you really mean that you would like to give a corsage to your grandmother for her to wear a Mother's Day.
I think this is a wonderful, thoughtful idea and I'm sure your grandmother will be touched by your thoughtfulness.

of course!! any thing you choose to do in remebrance of a special person is acceptable. Just know that she is looking down on you with the utmost pride and joy because she got to take part in raising such a loving and caring person such as yourself.

she would love it even if you stood on your head because she would know that it was all for her!!!!

SOOOOO SWEET
