Very good question I'd have to say I'm guilty of that , it is rather unfair to just assume that now that I've given it some thought.

I've noticed that sometimes and thats because we just have our mind set on some scrawny kid and kid his sort of a masculine name in a way. Thats why sometimes when I am talking about someone who is a girl that I say some chick

Yes. I think most people do, but it could be a girl
to sometimes, because of the way some girls act, they can be just as bad as some guys.

i totally get that. i was just thinking the same thing. its kinda wierd. maybe we just think that girls grow up faster or the age of people who r saying "some kid" the girls r more mature because the get puberty first and stuff

Not necessarily.

Just when people say "some kid was _______" they are generally saying something about trouble making; that suggests male.
