Writing English paper need some ideas for the paper. It is about how US values oil over most anything.?

Some examples I already have are:

Human life-we send troops to fight over oil and they can die, we kill for oil(this section can be added to if there are more ideas as to how human life is devalued when it comes to oil)

Environment- We know co2 emmissions are bad for environment and oil(gas) from cars puts more c02 into air so the us values the oil over environment) This section needs more examples as well.

TO GRANNY: Im talking about America as a whole not just the government but EVERYONE including american people. YOU DON'T NEED TO TELL ME WHAT I ALREADY KNOW! I have done extensive research on environment problems, wars because of oil ect. DON"T ASSUME SOMETHING(LIKE I MEANT THE GOV). I MEANT EVERYBODY! I NEED HELP WITH MY PAPER NOT YOU OPINION!

You could give examples of why oil is so valued..America's dependence on Oil, how America would struggle to function if she had no Oil, how having no oil would affect industry, transport, the economy and individual lifestyle. I don't think America values oil over human life. It's more a case of the US government values the lives and lifestyles of the American people and are willing to sacrifice other lives and cultures to protect their own. I'm British and not political, but I think what Bush is doing is in the interest of America, he's just not telling them the seriousness of the situation. Hope this gives you some ideas.

1. People that are aware of our lack of oil, continue to buy "GAS HOGS"!
example of a gas hog "The HUMMER" the SUV'S...........The I get 7 miles to the gallon people..........
total disregard for the human life being lost daily by our service men and women..............Have you ever looked at it from that perspective? According to what you have written I think NOT!
Young teens and young adults driving to and from one place to the next looking for excitement! Using up valuable oil and costing lives by not curtailing the use of the gas and oil.
No one saying " I think I will give up driving just 1 day a week" to help save the life of some military person.

MY FRIEND YOU BLAME ALL OF THIS ON THE GOVERNMENT.........
HOG WASH!!!!! WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT and we don't care enough to save one life by cutting back on using "THAT" oil.
If we were to cut back it would also cut back on the emission problem.......
................Imagine this.....................
Divide this country into or 4 sections
each section takes 4 days per section per month to stop all driving except for emergency's. Can you imagine the oil saved and the pollution improving.
Most of all how many military lives get to come home.
