Heyyy there! i am ALMOST 18 & just got back from my doctors for a basic physical. My weight was but 231+ My waist was a low 48 inches, chest 44, i am 5'10. AND have a BP of 142/101 & my body fat% is 31+

It was about a YEAR or so ago when i decided that i wanted to GAIN weight not LOSE it! At the time i was around 161 lbs. & was quite thin. So i decided to "pack on the pounds" per say...

NOW i wear a snug 38 jeans. i have a fair share of "sexy" stretchy marks on my love handles/hips & quite a few on my inner thighs too! i also struggle to come to terms w/ the fact i cant do ONE situp!

Obviously all this extra excess weight has come in the form of fat... I have no problem with this infact i like it & plan to gain more!

Yet my question is that a few of my friends suggest i do yoga daily. Yet i dont want to. For fear that i may lose fat or add muscle bulk. Will I? Or can i continue binging on fatty foods, not exercise AND still keep gaining while stretching?

I can right? ;-)

I've been doing yoga for quite a while. Yoga is light, so it wont make you huge with muscle. It will mostly just make the muscles you have get firmer and give you a good stretch. I always thought the yoga stuff with all the stretching would be a load of B.S., but it really does make you feel better and give you energy...plus, not feeling jiggly when you walk is pretty nice.

Stretching is good for you. However, if you want to lose weight, the answer is that you need aerobic exercise and a good diet.

For aerobic exercise, it can be either long distance running (long slow distance running), biking, or swimming.

If that does not work for you, I would like to suggest that you take up swing dancing and dance at least 2 or 3 hours a day.

I would suggest that you avoid fatty foods, red meat, and try to go on a vegetarian diet.
