No. I used to raise them. They see mostly at ultraviiolet wavelengths. Flowers that look dark to us may attract them as looking bright.

actually they are! but not generally speaking, colour attraction is really species specific, so some species are and other speciesarent, usually the female of which, are actually repelled by the colour! its all to do with wavelengths of reflectance, 'the peak colour reflectance of plants is the yellow band at 50-560 nm, so this colour may act as a super-normal foliage stimulant to herbivorous insects'. And when testing colours yellow, white and blue, yellow we found to be the most attractive to most fly families.

omg!! i think youre right, b/c like, whenever i wear yellow, bees sting me all the time, and they leave me alone when i like wear pink or any other color!!!
