I realize this question has been asked already; however, I have been unable to find an answer that works for me. I have tried many sites that allow video-downloading off of sites that haven't worked; I have tried PimpFish, which is supposed to work with www.tv-links.co.uk, but doesn't (with either the link at the top of the video window or by using PimpFish to get the actual link); and the temporary-file trick I saw in another answered question doesn't work for me (unless I'm doing it at the wrong time or something, may need help). So can anybody help?

The reason I'm asking is because I want to get a laptop, but won't be going to wifi spots and I won't buy my own internet, so I obviously can't access the site. If I could download the videos, I could just put them on my laptop off of my desktop before leaving the house, and replacing them after watching them with other movies.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, as I said before, I tried the video-downloading sites, but the links in the videos on the site don't seem to work, both in the browser or in the video site.

And I have two questions about the video streaming software:
1. Are there freeware versions?
2. Do I have to be watching the movie for it to record it, or what?

Hi there ....

this is only work with Firefox 1.5 above if it so, then just follow these steps

1. You will need "DownloadHelper" from mozilla Firefox so go to https://addons.mozilla.org/
2. Search key = DownloadHelper
3. Download And Install this addons (DownloadHelper) your firefox will asking for restart. just do it
4. now open that link as you ask for !!!
5. you will select to open your video. but it be better if you using "right click" and click "open link in new tab". this is only to prevent firefox open new window when you do this stage with "left click"
6. on that new tab when the video is begin to start (preloading)... click => Tools > DownloadHelper > "file with extension *.flv". do not do this after movie already play the content you will need to "reload" the current page and do this stage again

i hope this clear enough for you ...

You need video stream recording software, there's lots of them and it depends on which file streams you want to record.
