If there is only a bit, Lynx deodorants dissolve the gum, that said it is the chemicals in it that do the work, so any deoderant etc should work if its in a aerosol can.
Just don't use anything that would damage the fabric

Gum is hard to remove..if it's fresh on then you can just pick at it. or you can use either tide spot remover, or just keep soaking it. If that doesn't work invest about $20 in some new jeans..good luck!!

You can also get this sticky stuff remover solution, using citrus oils, from catalogues such as kleenezee and 'the sun' newspaper catalogue. But from experience as mentioned... Popping your jeans in the freezer is the best bet.

Amyl Acetate, if you have access to this chemical. It dissolves it without affecting the fabric. Paint thinners usually contain it as an ingredient.

hiya, heard this on LBC radio a week or so ago on Anna Raeburn's slot- someone called and said WD40 works a treat (however test fabric for colourfast etc prior to application) ..

Acetone, no just kidding, but I heard that if you put them in the freezer for a while that will work.
