I see so many questions on here about gas prices. Do people really not understand why they are so high? Do they really blame Bush and the war? If that is the case, I am so disappointed in people. You have to keep up with world events. I can't believe how much people don't know but they think and voice and uneducated opinion on it.

I am liberal. Bush is not my favorite. He is doing a good job. I must say I am dissappointed in the liberals. This war needs to be finished. Bush has done so much I can't forgive, especially with Katrina (I'm from South Louisiana), but he is not the reason we have high gas prices. Then this gas out on May 15th?!?! Get real people Educate yourself and stop making yourself look stupid.

If you really want to make a difference. Allow a new refinery in your area and lobby to Congressman to get one. That is problem people. You are too! By how much you use! Open your eyes!

kvery thank you. you pretty much summed up what is happening. i am not trying to offend people. there is clearly a blame game going on with Bush and gas prices. Wrong blame. We need to blame ourselves.

People see high gas prices but when you ask them to cough up their big SUVs they laugh.

Watch the Oscars and see how many hybrids show up.

Walk through any parking lot and notice the number of huge SUVs you think we had the worst roads in the world and you know they will never see a dirt road.

We want all the engery for nothing.

Those who want eletric cars don't want to build power plants.

The last time the prices came down is when people stop driving.

It is the law of supply and demand.
We demand it and they will pay for it.
We restrict the supply by not allowing drilling off the coast of FL or CA and no one running for office is even going to suggest that from happening.
We don't want refineries built.
So we limit the supply to the Middle East.
Wow what a reward make people rich and spoil than they fly planes into buildings.

If America is serious about oil.
Trash the SUVs.
Build mass transit that is worth it.
Build the bullet type trains so we don't have to fly.
Support solor, nuclear, geo-thermo, etc

btw: I am a conservative.

Clinton was a better president than bush and that's pathetic!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion mine however is that
it was a mistake to even think of electing this soap box pansy!
As far as the gas prices go everyone needs to park whatever their driving and carpool. The amount you save will really hit home.

In one question you've managed to make all liberals look like whack jobs...thanks a lot.

And who blames gas prices on Bush and the war? Start reading real newspapers...The Onion isn't real.

You think you sound educated by calling the rest of the yahoo folk idiots? I dont think you have a question here, sounds like more of a comment. And you say Bush has done such a great job, what has he done thats so great. I think you need to check yourself.
