Yes. Have your husband write on the back of the check, "Pay to the order of (your name)" and then endorse the check with his signature.

Hi
yes, as long as he signs the back of it (and sometimes your bank will have you sign the back of it also) you can deposit it. They may hold the funds for up to 10 days or until the funds clear from the bank the check was written on but that is about it. Double check your banks policies but there should be no problem. I have done it many a time with my husband as well.

The bank will want to be sure that it is, in fact, your husband's endorsement. It is their responsibility to be sure that your husband had the benefit of the funds. If he already does business with your bank on another account, then it is no problem - they would have his signature on other account documents. . Otherwise, the larger the check, the more likely you are to have difficulty...to the point of requiring him to come in and endorse it in front of a bank employee, as well as show ID. Its a matter of scale....if its a $25.00 check, no one will care. If its $25,000, then they'll be VERY interested.

The name on the check must be the same as the bank account holders name. The only way you maybe able to put it in is, if the check is singed over to you. The best thing to do is ask at the customer service desk in your bank.

no it's a third party check and they don't accept those. If you deposit through the atm it will be returned and they could close your account.

It depends on the bank. If your husband signs and puts pay to the order or your name and you sign it, it should be good.
