After putting my clothes to wash in the gentle cycle, I noticed when I when I went to get my clothes they were still dripping wet, the washer did not spin. I started over the wash and from the start it wanted to wash as if there was water in it. There is no water in it, if i let it run to the spin cycle it will make the sound as if its draining water, and will not spin, then you can see the timer move , then its off. I tried starting it over a few times and it keeps doing the same. Can you plz help me

It's all the same motor and drive mechanism. You probably just have a bad lid switch. It's not visible on some washers, but on others it's the switch that the little pin hits when you close the lid. It keeps the washer from spinning so you won't get your arm ripped off. If you opened the top of the washer it should be easy to spot.
