Are malware, spyware, and viruses always going to be a huge problem?

What is your prediction on the proliferation of malware?

Its only going to get worse. No one seems to have the stomach to prosecute people.

Make it a felony to distribute programs that include malware.

People often get adware installed requesting they buy a certain product. Any guess as who is responsible for installing the adware on millions of computers linking you to a specific product? Is anyone ever prosecuted; NO. A class action suit against these people for tens of millions of dollars would do a lot of good.

Prosecute the script kiddies parents for tens of thousands of dollars each. Ban them from the internet for life.

If a country does not effectively prosecute people who send malware and spam; and engage in credit card fraud, cut off their access to use the web outside their own country.

If a web host does not effectively control sites that send malware and spam; and engage in credit card fraud, cut off their access to the web for all the web host and sites the person or company own. If they repeat their behavior, ban them forever from the web.

Ofcourse, when criminals are making thousands of dollars per day with bots, and move from one proxy to another with off shore banking I see the problem only getting worse.

There is no reason for the criminals to stop when some of them are making more money in one day then you or I will see in one year.
