Yes, under almost every circumstance.

The only circumstances by which you would not be free to move out at age 18 would be if your parents (or anyone else, for that matter) were granted conservatorship over you. The court will allow a conservatorship to be established if your parents can show that you are incapable of taking care of yourself, due to mental or physical defect. Otherwise, their parental rights to your custody cease upon your 18th birthday.

When you turn 18, by law, you can make your own decisions.
You can do whatever you like, except drinking alcohol. You can even go be a stripper... that is if you choose thats what you want to do.

If you are unhappy at home, then by all means move out. But your parents love you, and thats why they are making it difficult for you to move out.

In all honesty, they are just threatening you, scaring you, even they know you can move out when you turn 18.

Just hang in there.

What is your problem? Move out when you are 18 - but mommy and daddy better be smart enough to make you fund the move yourself. Sounds to me like you need a good @sskicking!
