a)
b - 13 < 2b + 10

subtract 2b on both sides

b - 2b -13 < 2b - 2b + 10
-b - 13 < 10

add 13 on both sides

-b < 23

multiply both sides by (-1) [by multiplying by (-1), the inequality sign changes!]

b > -23

_____________

b)
- 5 (x+2) < -2 -5x
-5x -10 < -2 - 5x

add 5x on both sides

-10 < -2

This is trivially true (true for any x, independent of x)
=> all real numbers x are the solution

____________

c)
3x + 3 > -3

subtract 3 on both sides

3x > -6

divide both sides by 3

x > -2

_________

Hope this helps!

a) b-13<2b+10 subtract b+10 from each side
-23 b>-23

b)-5(x+2)<-2-5x distribute -5
-5x-10<-2-5x add 5x to each side
-10<-2 true for all x

c)3x+3>-3 subtract 3 from each side
3x>-6 divide both sides by 3
x>-2

a)
b-13<2b+10 ==> -13 - 10 <2b - b ==> -23
b)
-5(x+2)<-2-5x ==> -5x -10 < -2 -5x ==> -5x +5x <-2+10
==> 0<8
it's obvious

c)
3x+3>-3 ==> 3x>-3-3 ==> 3x > -6 ==> x>-2

M is right, but there is more than one way to do math see below.

a) b-13<2b+10 substract b from both sides

-13
-13 + -10 < b

-23 < b

b)-5(x+2)<-2-5x expand -5(x+2)

-5x-10<-2-5x add 5x to both sides

-10<-2

c)3x+3>-3 subtract 3 from both sides

3x > -6 divide by 3

x> -6/3

x>-2

well, the first and second one i don't get but i can help u with the third one okay so this is how you do the third one
so it is 3x+3>-3
so first u have to get rid 3 so u have 2 subtract 3 from both sides...
so now it's just 3x>-6
now divide both sides by 3
so it's x>-2
