When you had your first crush, what grade were you in?

5th grade as far as I know. I just remember thinking she was the best looking girl I ever saw. One day I walked by her desk as her girlfriend's were writing phone numbers down for each of them and I saw her name and looked at the number and said it over and over in my head to remember it until i got back to my desk and could write it down. Then for the next few weeks I would call her house but as soon as someone answered i hung up. I was too scared and nothing ever happened but I still wish i had the nerve. who knows what might have been.
