Although water is lost through evaporation it can also be gained through rainfall, rivers entering the ocean and also runoff from the land.

basically water evaporates forms clouds/moisture which floats out over land and comes down as rain which hits the ground, flows down streams,. and rivers into ponds and lakes and ultimately back into the sea..see ?

umm the water cycle, the water from streams, oceans, ect. evaporates, then it rains and is purified
