Just relax and take the news as a wake-up notice that it's time for you to focus on changing your study habits to where you're more effective in getting good grades. Begin to reduce whatever distractions that are holding you back. You're still young and it's not too late for you to do much better - you can turn things around grade-wise and make a great comeback. If necessary get a tutor for classes that you find difficult. HS will be coming soon enough and you'll want to do well there so you'll earn the high SAT's that will get you into a good university or establish the foundation for whatever career you're interested in having. A good education is the ticket to many nice things including a well-paying job.

I dont want to come down on you but if u need to ask how u feel something is wrong. This question should be a no brainer. You should be very upset about this. At this point theres nothing anyone can do to help. Maybe instead of being on the computer you should be doing some homework.

First off, ALWAYS capitalize "I" and "I'm".
Secondly, you are not being "hailed" back. You're being HELD back.
Finally, try going to summer school if you can. A couple students in my class failed their freshman year. They both went to summer school, passed and graduated with us. I know you're in sixth grade, so I don't know if summer school is available. Check into it if it is that important to you.
Otherwise, I would say it's not a big deal. You'll make friends with the grade below you.
Best of luck!

don't worry just chillax cuz alot of kids get held back.50% of kids in the world get held back it's normal k take a chill pill.i had a friend she was 4months late so she got held back but we forgot about it know where BFF in our grade she real smart so if she didn't get held back none of this would of happened if she didn't get held back.so if these 6th graders make fun of u remember this there is something called Karma for them.A few yrs later u'll forget about this.
try a new motto like "if u believe u can achive u will succeed" that's my motto
p.s.good luck in the 6th grade

Well your spelling needs help. You are being held back, not hailed back. It might do you some good in the long run, but sure to hurt your pride initially. Sorry

If this is true then you are too young to be on here and you need help with spelling. Now on the spelling thing, you have a spell checker. Use it. You have books, study them. Stay off the internet. You cannot get where you need to be on here!

I'm sorry to hear that you're not moving on with your friends. My sympathy to you, but to be brutally honest, from your spelling and punctuation, I would say perhaps it's the best thing for you.
