Hi! given the circumstances, i would go with the classic monogram since this will never go out of style and is scratch resistant and very durable due to the canvas nature of the bag. The mini-lin is nice as well, but in the long run, you are correct, it will show every scuff and dirt and as expensive as it is, it will be hard to take care of, versus the classic monogram bag, you can get it wet, bring it everywhere, etc...it will last you longer. Trust me, i have many classic monogram bags...more on the luggage side since i love the style and the durability factor. My oldest piece is a monogram large montsouris backpack, given to me by my mum back in 1997, when i was in high scool...i still have that same bag in great condition and i have used that bag since boarding school in Switzerland, all my travels around europe and college...i still use it as a gym bag sometimes and just whenever....but the reliability is phenominal! In addition, the classic monogram develops this gorgeous honey patina over time with the leather trimmings! So the more you use it, the more it looks better! Good luck!

Just a word of advice, I have both of them but i have the brown mini lin and the speedy 30 canvas and the mini lin is made out of linen so it can not be used as an everyday bag, it is very delicate and it will rip on the bottom and the handle area. Also i guarantee you the white will get extremely dirty. The canvas speedy 30 is the best way to go, it can handle everyday use and it does not get dirty at all, the handles start to get dark after long time use and the inside of course will get stained if you spill something in it or something but overall the canvas is 100 times better then the linen.

In my opinion I like the Speedy 30 White Monogram multi color, I think it's very cute and adorable. I also like the classic Monogram Canvas Speedy. Well, everything is your decisions, but it's all up to you. Good Luck in making the decisions!!!

I am def a speedy girl. I have the monogram speedt 25 and the black murakami speedy 30. I would say go with the monogram speedy. Original but classy.

I have the Speedy 30 Monogram Canvas ... although I hate that it IS the most popular bag LV sells, but it's classic & it fits your whole house in there! Love it! But for spring & summer, the white is gorgeous! You could get both. LOL.

I like the monogram-mini. It's unique. Many will think yours is fake if you go with the classic monogram. You should spice it up with the chain shown on the mini monogram if you decide to get the classic though. Always err on the more unique side, that way, it won't be perceived as fake to passersby.
