The answer is A. Why?
Look at the coordinates (note: these ordered pairs are of the form (x,y)). The x-coordinate follows the pattern:
0,2,4,6...so it increases by 2 each time.
The y-coordinate follows the pattern: -3,-2,-1,0...So it increases by 1 each time.

Then you have: (0, -3), (2, -2), (4, -1), (6, 0), (6+2, 0+1) = (8,1).
Then repeat...add 2 to the x-coordinate and 1 to the y-coordinate.
(8,1), (8+2, 1+1) = (10,2)
so y is 2

You can tell by looking at the sequence that as the y-value increases by one, the x-value increases by two. This means that if you continue the sequence, the next ordered pair would be (8,1) and the next would be (10,2).

Your looking for the value of y when the x-value is 10, looking a little past the pairs given proves that A) 2, is the answer.

Continue the sequence:-
(8, 1),(10, 2)
