I had surgery cause my appendix busted and they stuck something in my general area and It hurt really bad. I was wanting to know if they broke my hymen. And if not what did they do? They stuck it in my vagina. Not in my uritha. I guess my question is did they broke my hymen.

I had appendix surgery when I was 12, and there wasn't anything stuck in my vagina. That is very strange. Unfortunately, the doc did stick his finger in my butt to check for what was in my system.

If the appendectomy was done laparoscopically they may have put some kind of an instrument in there thru your vagina to help manipulate the diseased appendix as they were trying to cut it. Yes, this could have broken your hymen.

I would definitely also ask the dr about this to find out what was done during your procedure besides inserting a catheter in to your urethra to measure urine content during the surgery.

It must have been a Foley cath up your ureter, not your vigina. Howevr, they should have done a vagina exam sometime before the surgery.
