Not if you believe the bible. God personally wrote the ten commandments. He wrote "I am the lord, your God . . . " The hebrew word used for "God" refers to the masculine version of God.

God referred to himself in the masculine tense. So by God's own word, he is male. Unless you propose that the bible is not true.

Here's the thing, GOD created both man and woman in GOD's image, so the only alternatives are that GOD is a hermaphrodite or that the sexual identity doesn't really matter. If GOD is a hermaphrodite, that might go a long way towards explainging GOd's plan for homosexuality, but if the sexaul identity thing doesn't matter, then it really doesn't matter what sex GOD is, if any!

God is what an individual take him/her as... i myself believe that it is a woman, because i believe that only a woman would forgive, human race for killing her only son... also i think God is a woman because God had a son, and i'm pretty sure men can't have children...

God is not human so if he was the first one who even created male and female. He's not either male or female. He's a spirit, spirits can take on human form so they can take on the form of a girl or boy. But really he can't be male or female becuz he's a spirit. Hope that makes sense :)

God has no body, and therefore God is without gender, and allusions to God being male or female are metaphorical ascriptions that indicate God's relationship to creation--they do not indicate anything essential to God's nature.

It would explain a lot of things. Cranes with backward kneecaps, wacky weather patterns from nowhere , giving Mankind a set of rules and then setting traps to break them so that they can be eternally tormented.... and whats up with the Platypus? Only a woman could have done that.
