no, the British have lasted this long and have dealt with worse issues than immigration. i would say they have their new fuel to there fire. a new distraction and to be honest will find a better way to deal with this issue than the USA has. i would say that the British will find a way to make this into a positive. the only thing i think that could bring the British down is if the spice girls got back together. that would be bad. very bad.

Simple answer: no it isn't the end of the British.

Britain's culture, as has the culture of most countries, has grown and developed over the years, as it has had a new intake of people. In Britain's case you can go back to Vikings, Romans, Norman French, Hugenots, Irish, and many nationalities particularly after World War II (Poles, Czechs, Hungarians, former-Yugoslavs) who had fought on Britain's side in the War and didn't want to return to Communist countries. Since then you can add the Windrush generation of Afro-Caribbeans in the 1950's, Ugandan Asians in 1972, Vietnamese in the early 1980's, and many others, and yet, despite this, Britain is still here, thriving, growing, and becoming a better place to live.

We live on an Island and it is getting smaller day by day by new generations of multicultural British. Also the British with all Islands and land also we are living throughout the world in a positive way in numbers we have lived so long and shared so much with all lands like Europe, India, Africa U.S.S.R, U.S.A and received so much in return. we have been bad in the long gone past, just as other nations.
We all only live on one bubble so the future is more important than the past.
History sadly is the only thing we struggle to define positive from negative because of culture differences and lack of knowledge.

As long as I live I will always be British thankfully and gladly proud of it.

The same could have been said during the last half of the 19th Century and early 20th Century when waves of immigrants came to the United States. These folks -- Italians, Irish, Germans, Poles -- are prospering and are helping the nation prosper. But, at the time, the old mostly Yankee families were tut-tuting.

No. Outside of the big cities or even in the suburbs white people are a huge majority. Dorset is 98% white for instance.

No it isnt, because there will always be Asians who claim to be Asian British... but then, people who are actually from Britain, dont call themsleves british, but their individual country (for example english).

So actually u may be right, British will be replaced with British Asian, English, Welsh and Scottish....

understand :D?
