It is only wrong if it is for the wrong reasons. Make sure you are able to provide everything and more for this child and then make it happen. Don't just have a baby to love you back.

Why would that be wrong? Sure you might feel a little guilty thinking about a baby before you get married but its better that way. There's plenty of ways to look at this, one its human nature to want to reproduce. Two, you should have an idea on rather or not you want children before you get into any serious relationships because that way you both can get an idea of what it is that you both want in the long run. So that you can get ready emotionally and financially. Third, who doesn't like the prospect of being unconditionally loved?
Hope this helped. Don't feel bad I know for fact there are lots of women in the same boat as you.

yes having a baby will be life changing but you have to be ready for that change, or as ready as you'll ever be. You are clearly mature enough to think that you aren't financially ready and maybe not emotionally either. So just wait a bit. And also, you shouldn't really, in my opinion, think that itis good to have a baby so that you have someone to love you. Really it is you that should have the unconditional love for the baby, not the other way round (or at least not take that for granted).

No, it's not wrong to want a baby.

On the other hand, you're misleading yourself if you think your baby will automatically love you right away. Babies are wonderful and sweet, but they are all about their needs, not yours - they have to be that way to survive. If what you really want is affection, you're better off finding a friend or even a pet. Parenthood really is about *giving* love and nurturing, not receiving it.

i feel the same way you do, but one thing you have to remember is that if you have a baby it will be a long time until the baby can really love you back, it will take months of constant work and care and energy poured into the baby before you see results.
good luck, i hope you will find someone to love you even more than you think a baby would.
God bless you,

I'm a bit confused - however I have to say that it is never wrong to WANT a baby, however it's the action of having one that you need to be careful about. Best wishes

Why would it be wrong for you to want a baby? Is it age or relationship reasons? We need to know more information to answer this correctly.

It's never wrong to want something. But if you're not emotionally and financially ready for it, it would be wrong to act upon that want.
