Have you ever watched the "Blue Lagoon". Wonderful movie where two children grow up together,stranded on a deserted island. They learn how to adapt and they learn about the differences in men and women. I'd say the opposite sex because we could reproduce and I'm so straight!!

Probably a guy, just to keep things equal. (smirk) Also, because in my experience, two women who have to spend a lot of time together usually end up fighting. If I was stranded on an island with a guy, it might lead to sex. (another smirk)

this may sound kind of gay but i would say having a man would be more practical would make hunting and building easyer ie more chance at surviving but it would be good at having a women but she might be a bit of a burden
