You might look in google with the Finnish search words: Suomen musiikki or Suomen taide (Suomen=Finland's or Finnish ; musiikki= music and taide=art).
There were thousands of hits with quite a few having English also .You could also look into Wikipedia
or the Universities web pages like www.helsinki.fi for Helsinki University www.siba.fi for Sibelius academy, uta.fi for University of Tampere.
For opera search with names: Martti Talvela, Karita Mattila
Savonlinna opera festival for example
pop: the Lord (winner of last year Euro song festival)
for conductors: Osmo Vänskä, Susanna Mälkki, Esa-Pekka Salonen and so on
for art : look at www.ateneum.fi or www.kiasma.fi the previous our National art museum, the latter our museum of modern art.
Start with wikipedia and you will get far -with the links also and google as such .
Some of the Universities world wide have pages on Finnish art.
For poetry go and look at: www.luminarium.org and search for Finnish poetry in Luminarium -you will find some translations ,not only of Kalevala, our national epic but of Risto Rasa and Eeva Kilpi.
Paavo Haavikko is explained in Encyclopedia Britannica and so on.
You will get far with these and this is only a scratch.
We have some excentrics in Finland like Apocalyptica, the classical cellists playing rock or the male choir: Huutajat (=screamers/shouters) who do not sing but do shout.
www.fimic.fi = Finnish Music Information Centre will get you to many areas .
The Finnish summer is full of festivals for all kinds of arts and music. The listing : www.festivals.fi will give you a lot of them -although not every single concert or art exhibition, obviously -and there you see Finnish artists obviously!
Welcome to see for yourself!
Tervetuloa!
