My question is about Richard (The Other that gave Locke Saywers file) Is it just me or did he not age at all from when Ben was a boy to current time? His hair was longer but other than that he doesnt look any older at all. Is that an island thing or did they do a bad job at making him look older?

Yeah, I think there has got to be some significance, to that. The show is normally very good with details. They definately should have tried harder to disguises his age if they meant for him to have aged as much as ben. Woa, maybe you don't age on the island...

WOA i was thinking the exact same thing while i was watching it!!! Lost has a few predictable parts...like it was pretty obvious that Ben wasn't born on the island since all the mothers dont even make it to the 3rd trimester...but anyways i dont know about Richard. he isnt human obviously. Richard SHOULD be the head guy of the camp, not Ben. Richard has been on the island longer than Ben, and he isnt part of the dahrma people, AND he tricked juliet on to the island. hmmmm...he was the one that made Ben the head guy of 'the others' so maybe he doesnt want people to know that he is special. If you noticed, the others only wanted people that were seeing dead people. and Richard looked pretty interested when (young) Ben said he saw his dead mom (he looked at Ben like he was chosen for something). i think those people are special somehow and the others need them...Richard needs them...for something...i just dont know what!

I thought the same thing. Ben aged about 25 years, but Richard looks exactly the same. If it was an island thing, than why did Ben and his father age?

Oh, it is definitely something major, it's certainly not a mistake that he still looks the same age.
There are lots of theories flying about from the inhabitants of the island being immortal to time travel. Hopefully we will find out sooner rather than later.

Maybe his hair being shorter showded his increase of age I think.
