Amanda I used to live in jax and the way that it works is the school board divides things up into zones depending on which zone your house falls into is what schol you go to .

I went to fletcher for years and then in the early 90's they rezoned and I had to go to sandal wood it was stupid I lived so close to fletche I could hear the band and football games across the intercoastal from my house but instead I had to go way out ner the mall to school

It is all about the district you live in and the district your high school is in. Even though Terry Park HS is closer it may be in another district.

It may have to do with boundaries and it also may be that the closer high school is full which places you at the high school that is further away.

The busses pick up on their route. They can't decide who
goes to which school. That is decided by someone higher
up.
