Also may i say - i WAS a full time father - with no time to watch t.v or listen to radio - now i am employed - and still i have no idea as too much has happened for people to explain it - which is why i am here - to learn! isnt that what answers is about? or perhaps to insult folk on lack of knowledge? those of you who have insulted me - get fcuked, get a life, grow a personality - then maybe you wouldnt need to insult me - you'd actually be too busy with your gf/bf, friends!

Wow, that's asking a lot. I tke you haven't been paying attention the last four years. The Palestinians have nothing to do with Saddam or why we are in Iraq! Whole separate issue! Saddam was more than mean and to more than just his own people, he killed thousands of Kurds (his own people in the North) ith Chemical and biological WMD's. The war with Iraq came after the UN tried to inspect nuclear plants. Among many other reasons, the UN issued some 17 Rsolutions to comply and they refused. A world wide coalition of forces was put together, after countless no fly zone infractions and the refusal to abide by UN Resolutions and they entered Iraq to dispose of Saddam and his two bully sons. The coalition forces defeated the Republican Guard and the Iraqi Army. The top 100 we hunted down to pay for their crimes against humanity, including Saddam. Saddam was found, tried and hung! We are there now fighting insurgents that infiltrate from other country's, as it is in their best interest Not to have a free and democratic Iraq in the Middle East. We are there trying to give the newly elected government of Iraq, by it's people, a chance at freedom and democracy. It has come to a point that they have to step to the plate and do something with it. We can't prop them up forever. Bin Laden isn't dead because he had to take refuge inthe mountians of Pakistan, and we can't just go in there. It really doesn't make a difference as he has turned out to be more of a figurehead than anything else, and we are killing off his top Al Queda staff.
Tha's is but short and sweet!

Saddam was the president of Iraq. He had used chemical weapons on the Kurdish people in northern Iraq on several occasions killing many thousands of his own people. It was believed by most people (UK, France, US - Dems & Rep) that he had or was trying to get nuclear weapons. He had already invaded Kuwait in the 1990s so the potential for him to act aggressively was real.
Bin Laden is the head of the terrorist organization know as Al Queda. The organization has been linked to the destruction of the World Trade Center, the bombing of the subways in Madrid and London.
The Palastinians have been at war with Israel since the time Israel became a country. This has nothing at all to do with Iraq or Bin Laden.

Dude were have you been?
Saddam was dictator of Iraq and he had nothing to do with Palestine... he murdered his own people which is why he was executed by the new Iraqi government...
Bush invaded Iraq because intel at the time said Saddam had ties to al Queda (at least that's what we have been told)... bin Laden is the leader of al Qeuda and the mastermind behind 9/11 which is why we want him dead... we invaded Afghanistan because that was bin Laden's known location and the Tabilan, who ruled Afghanistan, actively supported him...
bin Laden and al Queda is dedicated to the destruction of Israel and carries out attacks on the U.S. because the U.S. supports Israel... bin Laden also advocates the eradication of all non-Muslims...

in layman's terms, you're way off base, Saddam used the Palestinian issue to try to get the other Arab nations on his side, the PLO never asked us for anything but money, and to wipe Israel off the map, but I digress. Saddam was President for life of Iraq, not Prime Minister. and we're fighting in Iraq because Saddam refused to abide by the UN mandate about WMDs, if he had none, he should have let the inspectors find that out instead of forcing a war he couldn't win

A little research is all that is required.
Anyone who is an American cannot be that ignorant of a war that has been going on for the last few years.

just to brake one of the myths about Iraq, and that is that Iraq had WMD's and we have been finding them and they have been used against us a whole bunch of times. also understand that Iraq at that time was bragging about his weapons and supporting other terrorists around the world. also the UN said that he should be punished

You will have to search all of that information online.
It all boils down to bin laden is a crazy guy that trains people to attack others, he attacked the USA our "brillant" president went attacked Iraq in "retaliation" because somehow Saddam called him a name or something is the best explination I can give. Iraq has oil and Bush and his boys want it. And now we have another state added to the union.

let me simplify,
Bush invaded to set up perm. bases to project control over the second largest oil field in the world that the 4 major US oil companies could not control.
the truth is easier to understand.
