True because there is less weathering due to wind and gravity, but the mountains have to face the huge water pressure when it is under water.

I think thats true. They say we know more about the moon etc than we do about the bottom of the oceans.

and for mountains : Everest 8848 with hawaian mountain of 9k-10k (4000 over sea level+ 5000 to 6000 metres under water or more..depends on how u calculate)
