I don't think you'll see the Sedin twins traded from Vancouver. It surely seems that they are going to be the backbone of the team for some time yet and are in no way going to be traded... but you never know... that could easily change!

Good 2-way forwards are hard to find in this league. The system that Vancouver's playing these days requires the forwards to be committed to defense first. The Sedin's have always been excellent defensive forwards, and in recent years have added a great deal of offense to their game as well. They fit in too well with the overall philosophy of the coaching and management for them to get traded now. Wait until they approach free-agency and a big pay raise for the serious trade rumours to kick in.

No. If anything Naslund and Morrison. Get rid of these over paid 35ish year olds that haven't adjusted to playing without Bertuzzi. You need to find someone that doesn't realize these faults, or maybe a trade with Detroit.

The Sedins are the top scoring line. And they would score more if other lines produced and took some of the opposition pressure off them.

Pretty much the only duo twin forwards with great ability in the world that don't even have to look at each other to know where they are due to their sick ability of twins telepathy to pass it and pretty much psych other players out....

Of course if that's the case you would just see one twin with the puck and then cover the other lol, but hey they work well with each other....

Vancouver would be pretty stupid to get rid of them EVER.

i dont think that the Canucks will want to trade them they will do their best to keep them these guys are great players and i also dont think that they will want to loose two guys that play great with each other
Also i dont know when their contracts are up but i am going to say soon if you are asking this question.
Any team that could afford two great players will probably try and get them but is probably unlikely that Vancouver will let them go

I don't think they will get traded because they are some of the best players on the team.

They're just starting to reach their potential, why trade them now?

No, why? Seems to me like it would be pretty dumb for Vancouver to get rid of their only good forwards.
