On driver's test I started out as 'Joe Cool' then went the wrong way on a one way street, almost hit a family crossing the street, and hit a light post in the parking lot of the license building. 'bout gave the tester dude a heart attack.
so it was blood, sweat, and tears for me..

Note: I don't even have my permit yet, but I still got to drive my gram's car up her driveway. Let's just say I was scared and I was really bad.
When I first got in the car, I slammed on the gas and it went flying forward. Then I slammed on the brakes and almost snapped my neck. And that was only the first time.
Then the second time, the car was in neutral and I floored on the gas pedal instead of the brake and the engine revved really loud.
I haven't even really drove a car yet and I'm still bad. I'm terrified to drive anymore, I'm too scared I'm going to wreck the car.

I remember it was lkike a ride on roller-coasters! Litterally !... On the straight road I got the speed, then on a curve I went straight through a flower bed and I was laughing so much that I kept my cool and stopped my car ( VW.) about ten feet from the house!... People came out in a hurry and I was embarrassed, so I backed up and went on my merry way with a ruined muffler that made such a racket I thought there was something wrong with the motor!... I'll never forget that !.

It wasn't as bad I had thought.
I chose the place.
A big empty parking lot at an industrial park, on a week-end.
I had the whole parking lot to my self.
After driving around and parking it on and off; for 30-40 minutes, I drove the car home.
After that, it was much easyer to drive around town.

All I remember is my mom's face. I don't think she's over it...after almost 25 years. Man she was so scared.
By the way, I'm much better now and my mom does get in the car when I'm driving.
