There is nothing wrong with polluting less but it will not stop the sun from heating up the earth. The real cause of global warming.

First off, you have to stop calling them 'conservatives'. The deniers of science are 'reactionaries'. This cabal of the strange, the odd and the dupes that they attract are on the same plane with the flat earthers, the alien abductors and some of the more seriously misguided Jesus freaks. 'Science' to these people is a mysterious witchcraft, non-biblical and as suspect as the communists under their beds. Burning anything produces CO2. The more you burn, the more CO2 you produce. Over the course of millions of years billions of tons of carbon have been locked away in the bowels of the Earth. Anyone who's ever been down a coal mine can tell you that. By releasing this CO2 you return the atmosphere to what it was before all of the carbon was produced. So, man-released carbon is the tipping factor in climate change no matter what the right wing radio talk show bozos try to put over on you.

When all the global warming chicken littles stop exhaling co2 then I will get on the bandwagon. Until then......no. This is for noah- Do the models take into account precipitation? Or clouds, or bodies of water? What you guys like to do is declare it a problem, claim everyone that questions it is an idiot or flat earther and attach religious language to it. Anyone who says global warming isn't becoming a cult is really not paying attention.

I basically agree with "aceman91". But, you have to admit, the scientific prof has a lot to be desired. Famous scientist are on both sides of the fence, with ice age in the past hundred years and temperatures always fluctuating. San Francisco is about to break a heat wave record with temps reaching 87 Fahrenheit. The old record stands at 86 about ten years ago. The way the media is hyping it, you would think the world coming to an end.

No actually I am even more resolute in the fact that it isnt.
The scientific concensus is swaying more toward that it isnt day by day.
The scientific evidence of the sun has proved to be the strongest evidence lately.
I know there is a petition about 20 thousand scientists have signed saying that it isnt man made at least not how the agenda is produced al la Gore etc...

I find it incredibly odd that, as the science behind anthropogenic climate change theory grows stronger, fewer and fewer people accept it. But I think the time has finally come to start considering the contrarians among the hallowed ranks of the creationists and the holocaust deniers. The evidence really is that strong. If you don't believe me, check out the newest IPCC report, which can be found for free here:

documents have been leaked in the previous interior the twelve months from the 'loose-industry' Heartland Institute, revealing money to in demand climate-substitute deniers, a plan to create a fossil-gas-friendly curriculum for Kindergartners, and efforts to 'save opposing voices' out of the media. there became no experience denying it by making use of a in demand scientist, not anticipating to get funded to propagate a fable any further. yet one problematical element in case you hear to Muller, is that he's blaming others for the issue, like the chinese language and likewise mentioned that if we can't get the chinese language to take care of it, then that is not incredibly worth it for us to do something.

No, it means that the phrase "Carbon Neutral" is meaningless, so it does no harm to say it. How exactly do you think that's going to crack down on the "problem"?
