For sure I would not miss the chance to go back to Egypt. It is true that Cairo is very caotic/messy and dirty but still its fantastic to see the Nile, the pyramids, take a cruise along Luxor etc. Stay in a 4/5 star hotel if possible and move around in a private car which is also very cheap. Egyptians are friendly though often talk too much and you have to know how and when to say NO in a polite way.
Pooverty is the only reason why many of them run behind any western woman promising you the moon and love forever, but we must try to understand their conditions are not like ours.

Yes sure but sometimes you might think twice because of the country.. Well, Egypt is like 70 times different form Europe and 85 times different that the United States of America. Well, egypt is a third woerrld country and developing.. Pollution is a problem and it's not a democratic country it bother people that comes from a humane country like the U.S and people have equal rights and human righst.. but there it's all about who's up and whos' down.. So that's sucks.. Plus the country is really polutted pollution is the worst thing in Egypt.. I think it's the dirtest place I have ever been in world wide.. People ther are all after your money they want bakshish all the time.. That really piss me off.. Do I look like a bank or somethign to them..
other than that country is nice when it comes to rich places like Sharm al Sheic Alexandria.. Red Sea..
but Cairo is hell on earth..

I think it would be fun to see Egypt. I studied Ancient Egypt in the 4th grade, so I would like to see the sphinx, pyramids, etc. I do want to travel to other places first, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Alaska.

Yes, I'd always go back! I've been twice and hopefully I'll go again. It's a great country and I enjoyed my stay so much the first time that I went back the following year. So few things on Earth that have been around for such a long time... It's magnificent. It's enough to see the Cairo Museum, which took me days to tour.

Even though I don't have to contribute a penny to see egypt this time around, I'm not going nor do I really want to. I'm a bit too pregnant to join my husband on his upcoming trip. But I was there in january, so that was enough for me. I only seem to be able to deal w/ egypt happily for 2 weeks/year since I'm easily annoyed by littering individuals , people peddling for $ and the general lack of order. The nice people and food can only help someone find comfort so far before I want to run back to germany/california...no offense to the country or people, but a lot of egypt is worse off than mexico. I wouldn't even put it in 3rd world category but something like 4th/5th.
