Why do other country's hate America so much?

People in third world countries and developed European countries hate America for a cluster of reasons, not just one.

America is a free nation, not all countries are, so we tend to be a bit showy in public. It isn't enough to be able to own your own business, own multiple cars, work with all kinds of protection agencies to cater to your silliest "whining" . How can people still be unhappy?

We are a nation of lazy, overweight, pretentious, greedy and dishonest whiners. So, the countries that live with pride and hard work efforts on their sleeve look at us like we are all ****** nuts!!

We must be! We live with $3-4 gas prices, but still buy SUV's, minivans and pickup trucks for our daily commute to an.... office job???....a 7 SEAT VEHICLE TO GET BACK AND FORTH TO WORK?!!? Many countries starving, our own people living on the street, standing in line to get a meal at a church or soup kitchen, but we have housewifes sitting at home that weigh 200-300 pounds!!!!
No wonder they hate us, we are too stupid to appreciate what we have. We go overboard and get fat, greedy, road rage and deep in debt while other nations are dying of hunger in the streets!
We are killing our own people at 14,000 per year, but continue to let gun shops thrive and sell more guns to psychos, and of course the little sportsman who is very careful with his little weapon and doesn't shoot people (eyeroll).
We have too many people to hold, feed and employ but our president says, "Aw shucks, c'mon in"....we'll figger somethin' out when ya git here".
Billions for defense is easy when you stop programs for the poor, homeless and disabled veterans..they can't march to protest.

here is the truth Mickey33: They hate our government first, because our government goes to other countries and try to regulate the way they do things, and use all their resource to our own needs. Second all countries can see how white america tries to put out how wonderful and perfect america is: first, this country was built from white betraying indians trust, and leaving their own coutry and not being strong enough to stay in their own homeland. second: they go over to Africa and first get afican servants, then start stealing people and enslaving and torturing humans for many of years, then put the native indians on the back burner, then rename,and then all thoughout history(american)try to put out this bullshit that we are the land of the free( when the first whites coming here were trying get free), and waring with the natives, and "ENSLAVING" a african race-making them fight for human rights, then till this day talk about how good and nice the white america is. so this is why other countries seem like they hate white america, you dont know how to let countries govern themselves,and you lie about how nice you are and equal, and arrogant like America has no flaws.

People hate America because as a whole we're an ungrateful country. We have everything we could ever want but we whine about the things we think we lack. We're some of the most privelaged people in the world and so many of us don't appreciate it at all.

I agree with don juan.. americans are very arrogant people.. and by america i mean everyone: whites, african-american, latin-american, asian-american, etc.. we think we are better than everyone else.. when we just were lucky to have a better life, freedom of speech, etc..
