I don't really want to kill them and my cat just sits there staring at them instead of doing his job so any ideas will be great

If you did want to poison them, copper sulfate would work.

However, you might look into ways to soundproof your bedroom. Thick curtains will make a huge difference. Quilts and bookcases can help a lot if you don't have the money for a professional job. A second layer of drywall, and some better windows can be fairly easy to install yourself if you've got a few friends that are pretty handy.

Catch and release. Try going on to www.google.com and type in frog traps. Maybe they will have humane ones and you can just take them to a pond somewhere else or sell them.

I knew someone who had toads in their pond. Used to catch them and release them in a local park where there there were ponds.

Please don't kill them! If their croaking bothers you at night you will get used to it soon enough. Then you may have trouble going to sleep when you cannot hear the croaking frogs.

Get some ducks, but you'll have to get used to their quacking!
