"The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.
However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue."

the "Sky" has no color because color is simply a reflection of light. In order for there to be reflection there needs to be something to reflect light off of so therefore space has nothing to reflect light so it has no color.
Now that being said why then does our sky look blue? It is only blue during the day because of the light reflecting from our gasious atmosphere and at night when there is no light source we see nothing but stars.
So why does the sky look black at night? Because the color black is actually the absense of all light ....it absorbes all light thats why your black T-shirt is much hotter than a white shirt because white is the reflection of all light thats why it is so bright. so actually black and white arent really colors at all!?

it is ture that the sky doesn't have a color, but it does appear blue because of the diffreaction of light through the atmosphere. high energy wavelenghts are bent the most, so the blue aspect is the most dominant. it is not beacuse of the oceans which is a popular myth.

The sky doesn't have any particular color. IN the range of wavelengths our eyes can sense, it's pretty much totally transparent.
