Tell your mom you have started. Get some more supplies, pads.

If you can take Advil take 1 or 2. Have a hot bath or put a heating pad on your stomach.

When you first start cramps are often a little worse.

Well, whether your mom likes to talk about that kind of stuff or not, she really has a right to know that you're having your period. She'll find out when she discovers that her pads are gone. But if you find it difficult to talk to her about such matters, do you have an aunt or other close female relative you could talk to, or could speak in your behalf? You can't keep it a secret from her, hon, and you might be surprised that she just might be supportive when she finds out. Good luck!

If you don't feel like having a huge talk with your mom about it. Go to a drugstore with your mom and go down the pad isle and be like "oh i need one of these" or somthing like that. But she really needs to know. I remember when I first got mine, i felt weird telling my mom. But once you tell her, its perfectly fine after. Just don't make it a big deal, and your mother won't make it a big deal. Also for your cramps, i get them really bad too. You can lay down with a heating pad on your on your tummy, near your belly button. Also drink lots of water and take an advil, or midol.

Honestly, I had the same problem only with my dad and step-mother. You really have no choice but to confront her. She has no reason to be angry with you, for having a period is a natural thing that all women go through. Besides, if you've already used up all her stuff, she's gonna find out sooner or later. If you tell her now, she'll gain respect for you, and hey who knows, might have some pointers for you on how to deal with it in the future. Good Luck!!

Just talk to your mum! I was like you- when I started my period I was so embarrassed! I told my sister and made her walk the twenty minute walk to the petrol station to get something!! Then I did eventually tell my mum and yes it was a shocking moment of my life! Years on there is no big deal and I can openly talk about my period- much to my male friends disgust!

Periods happen to every girl/woman and it really is nothing to be embarrassed about. Maybe you have a good friend you could tell? Or even a sister?

When I got my period my parents, (well mum, god forbid I would ever speak to my dad about it, even now!!!), they bought me some roses and chocolates. And mothers now all the ways to relieve period pain and they really do help!

(A tip- hot water bottle!!!!)

It will be a weight of your shoulder when you tell your mum- you thought about it this much to ask the question... go on... I dare you!

Take care.

Get a heating pad or even ne of the ones you stick on you. Grab some chocolate,a magazine, your favorite drink or even channel surf and just try to relax. Try taking advil not tylenol because that thins your blood and you'll bleed more. If advil doesn't work go for midol. Try as hard as you can to relax,I know it's painful! Don't eat too much greasy food because that makes your cramps worse. And.....

Just mention it to your mother! even if afterwords she kinda freaks or doesn't know what to tell you. At least you tried to talk to her.

Other than that. Try as hard as you can to take it easy.

Honey,is there anyone you feel comfy talking to about this?
It is normal for u to have tummy aches, back ache and feel a little moody perhaps so dont worry ok. U should at least tell ur mum u have started ur periods as i am sure once she notices her pads r gone she will ask u anyway.

Im sure she will be understanding x

the whole box? you probably have a heavy flow...as far as the cramps try a heating pad or a hot water bottle(do not put directly on skin, use a towel on your stomach first). you really should talk to your mom though. i think she will notice when her pads are gone

Take an Advil ( 200 mgs) for the cramps. Tell your mom , she will be thrilled! mark it in the calendar also , ladies keep track when the period comes to learn your cycle.
