I do the football workouts with the guys three days a week, and I can catch and run and pass just as well as the guys. But do guys have anything against girls playing a pickup game of football with them? I find a lot of guys do.

Hey, if a girl can do as well as a guy, then they should play. I have nothing against girls playing in any sport that they want to, neither do I care if boys play in volleyball. If you are good at the sport then you should play.

it's not weird, it's something you want to do and like so go for it...as long as you don't start acting like a guy off the field...then it gets a little weird for guys...or not! some guys like a girl they can hang with....just be who you are and like what you like, don't worry about what anyone says... I love football too, I was never on a team but I might have been...I love sports and a lot of my girl friends think that's weird, to each his own, I have fun and that's what counts.... I get kind of mad because it's not tackle, why do girls only have flag football? :| blah. go for it!!! :D edit: no one ever listens to the Guys or Girls thing at the start of a question haha

Not really weird but unheard of yes. People just dont expect to see a girl playing football. I think that a guy would actually like playing with a girl.

Coed flag football at the Relay for life is my favorite event ever in life :) When we pass to the girls they love it, they get so excited. But serious tackle football? Like college or Pro?
I just dont think it would be very exciting of a female wide receiver going up against a male cornerback?? or a male fullback going against a female linebacker?? I just dont ever think that would be even fun to watch, or maybe just the opposite I dunno lol

You just continue to show those punks up and do what you want to do. Football in it's purest form should be accessible to all ages and genders and jut because the NFL is all male doesn't mean you can't enjoy a pick up game. Any "boy" who gets offended is just that a "boy" and they won't become a man until they realize that.

I played all of the time growing up. I could knock any guy flat on their butts and loved it! I just had to prove myself. I even signed up for a league when I was 10 and fought to be able to play.

when youre young some girls can hang with the guys, but as you get older the guys get much bigger and stronger and its dangerous
thats why girls dont play in the NFL

Uh...Some chivalrous guys might have a problem with risking injuring you...Then there's that whole tackling thing, you being a girl and all...Hmmm...Guess it depends on how you feel about being grabbed possibly at the chest and hips to tackle you...If you don't have a problem with it, I guess guys wouldn't...

I think its cool. i play with my cousins and we let my sister play. I also know a friend who played flag football for my elementary school.

I think it is weird. Guys dont want to hit girls so they dont want to tackle them. They feel awkward. You have the advantage because no one would want to touch you.
