Well, it depends on your risk tolerance. Frankly, I would largely in urban commercial real estate with a sum like that. Depending on the interest rate you are getting, you may be able to find an arbitrage opportunity by investing in municipal or even treasury bonds (if your business credit rate is abnormally low). However, if you are looking for a stock, I would recommend Dendreon (DNDN). The FDA decision on its most recent drug, Provenge, has been delayed. The stock price plummeted in the last two sessions, but nevertheless, I have great faith that Provenge will be approved, and with that, the price of Dendreon will skyrocket. After all, an examination of history extends one the ability to see that when an FDA panel considers a drug both safe and efficacious, the FDA almost always approves.

Look at micro credit which are loans under $500. If you give better rates than the credit card companies and Check Into Cash (the customer borrows on the next pay check that they haven't gotten yet), people might flock to you instead.

But $50,000 as a stand alone, I would do this with ETFs:
$10,000 XLI
$20,000 EWZ
$20,000 XLU

I've made several hundred thousand dollars selling uncovered call options, but this is very, very risky. Go with something more conservative and invest in the VFINX fund, it's a Vanguard Fund that mirrors the S&P 500.

It's already invested - just keep the business going by satisfying customer demand.

Green is on the rise in a big way. I would invest in mid-level green company that's on it's way up.

Buy lottery tickets. Or get a professional money manager to screw your head on straight so you don't blow $50K.
