I would use windows media player unsure if itunes can do it or not. But have it auto search the computer for you... It will find all the music. note this could take a while based on how big of hard drive(s) you have. Once it does that. You can use either of them to see where the music is stored. When that happens i suggest you start to move them into one folder. Remove All from both and have it search that folder to put them back. Once you've done that. Change all music download programs to that folder. I always use C:\music to store all my music.
Side note sometimes they will find the music that is on your computer already ie the sounds it makes when it has an error etc or any games you have on it.

Assuming you have windows XP. Just go to "search" in the start menu. Click "Pictures, Music, & Video", then check "music" and run your search. This will bring up every sound file that you have on your computer....some of which aren't music...but this will do the trick.
By right clicking on a file that comes up on your search, you can go to "open containing folder" and see the rest of your music files in that folder.
Is this what you were looking to do? If you're looking to just add all the music in harddrive to itunes I have a different answer for you.

If you downloaded it from iTunes, by default it's located in my music/itunes.
It also depends on where you got them from, if they came from iTunes try searching on *.m4p
If the files came from a different source, you need to figure out what 3 letter extension is for that file type, i.e. .mp3, .wma etc..
You can also right click on a song in your library and use the get info option to find out what the path is to a particular file.
