LOL - there is no reset button... if there is one labeled "reset" on your computer it only restarts your computer... nothing else... since you're obviously not particularly computer savvy... I'd recommend taking your computer to a repair tech... like Geek Squad... its expensive... but in your case, it's the easiest answer

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.

There is no reset button. Only restore.

You can run Karpersky online antivirus program direct from the Russian Server. Will scan your entire system and kill all of the viruses found.

Please note that depending on how many processes you have running and programs installed, it could take upto 2 hours to complete. The online scanner will show how far the scan is into scanning your pc.

Karpersky is rated # 1 in the world for virus detections.

First go to http://www.f-secure.com and use their online scan to try to get rid of the virus. If that doesn't work. You may have to reformat - back up what data you can. then change your boot order to boot from the CD. You normally get in to set up by pressing delete or escape or one of the function keys on boot up. Then put your XP disk in and press a key when asked to to boot from the CD and delete the partition and do a destructive format. That will wipe everything and reinstall Windows.
