in the fifth book he's banned but I wanted to know if he gets to play again.

yes, he does. and he becomes gryffindor team captain! but jkr says that book six is the last time harry will play quidditch...

Harry gets to go play quidditch again because Umbridge was sacked (as expected) and the ban was lifted. But, a lot of good players left, and Harry gets to be captain...

Considering he's Griffindor Quidditch team captain in the sixth book, I'd say he was unbanned. Remember not much that Professor Umbridge set forth stayed that way.

The ban was lifted when Umbridge left.

So when umbridge left everything went back to normal.

And he's Gryffindor quiddich captain in HBP!!!
