We live in central Oklahoma, my son is 14 years old, and we're looking for a short trip that would be fun for him and a friend. Any ideas? They like go karts but already have four wheelers and motorcycles. I was wondering about Dodge City, KS. Is there enough there to make two or three days of it?

Take a plane trip. If you go to the local municipal airport, you can generally find a pilot with a plane who is trying to rack up flight hours. They can't fly for pay, but they can let you pay for their gas and expenses. This can be a pretty good deal for everyone if you are willing to pay lodging for one other party. With a 3 or 4 day plane trip and a little money on rental cars and hotels, you can expand your options a lot.

Road trip!! Just go out cruise the woods and the state stop at fup pit stops, Lap it up. Youll be surprise how much fun you can have with you son. Memories last forever!!

My cousin lives in Dodge city, she's fourteen too, she's called Kyla, and she says she has some great ideas for your son and his friend. But they all kinda depend on you staying home.
