Most of the time I'm told that I'm a delightful person. The only people who seem to have a problem with me are online. lol

I have overheard my husband talking to his friends about me, and the things he says really touch my heart.
Example:
One night, he was on the phone with a long time friend of his, who has had bad luck with relationships. I am quietly putting things in the dishwasher, before we go to bed. He is on the other side of the kitchen island, he knows I am there, but must have forgotten. I wasn't paying any attention, until he raised his voice a little "Because you date stupid little girls!" I stopped, and quietly turned around, and he continued "Do I look like a happy man? Of course I do, I don't have to wait around for my wife to figure out how to be a woman, she wrote the freaking book; if you date stupid little girls, don't expect them to be anything else!" I just grinned, shook my head and went back to what I was doing. I never told him I heard that, and it isn't the only time.

It's really weird, because my girls think I'm the meanest mom in the world (ok - the oldest has gotten past that for the most part, but the youngest has a ways to go!), but the college students appear to love me! They constantly stop by the office to see me for absolutely no reason at all! Go figure! The professors I work for think I'm responsible - one of them even goes so far as to call me the "Mary Poppins" of our department because whenever they need something, it's like I just pull it out of nowhere! I just do my job - but it sure is WONDERFUL to be appreciated like that! :-)

I treat all people like they are important to the rest of the people and they for the most part treat me the same.

No, I'm convinced people don't think much of me as I don't think much of myself to begin with. I really don't know how people see me. I've been told that I was funny.
